Under the EIT Food Impact Funding Framework, two separate programmes exist. These are Collaborative Missions Programme Funding and Single Project Funding programmes.

1. Collaborative Missions Programme Funding:

The project activities proposed under this programme should connect key companies, research organisations, social enterprises, regions and other stakeholders across relevant economic, industry and social value chains. Engaging beneficiaries or challenge owners with well-defined impact needs should be the central objective of the proposal. The methodology of working collaboratively with EIT Food should also be outlined with the proposal. It could be through joint steering of the programme(s), making use of the EIT Food’s existing capabilities and programming (such as public engagement or start-up support), building on EIT Food’s portfolio of previous innovation and education investments, or strengthening the project/programme proposal by forming coalitions with EIT Food’s professional networks.

In this framework, EIT Food is looking to fund and co-resource alliances and collaborative programmes which aim to produce multiple results and high-impact outcomes. “Programmes” means connected activities and workstreams across economic, industry and social value chains. For the examples of actions that could support to achieve Mission Targets of EIT food, please see page 5, “Programmes Types” described in the Implementing Participants Guidelines document.

In the Implementing Participants Guidelines, you can also find information regarding the eligibility conditions of the organisations to participate the Collaborative Missions Programme Funding, the maximum funding amount available, requested co-funding rate, the structure of the consortium and etc.
